POST /connections/hyperline/{conn_id}/enable-tax

Enable tax collection on a hyperline connection

Create the Hyperline webhook endpoint (if needed) and enable tax calculation (L2) on a Hyperline connection. Unlike the generic enable-tax-collection action, this is required before a Hyperline connection can enable tax collection at all. A no-op that returns the connection unchanged if it is already enabled and configured. Returns 400 if the connection is not ready for tax calculation, has opted out of tax collection, or Hyperline rejects the request. Returns 404 if the connection does not exist, is not a Hyperline connection, or belongs to an organization your credential cannot access. A multi-org credential must send an `Organization-Id`, `Connection-Id` or `Entity-Id` selector, or gets a 400. Returns 503 if creating the webhook endpoint fails; retrying may succeed. The optional body takes `viaL2Checklist` and `requestId`.

Category: Connections

Path parameters:
conn_id (string, required) - The unique identifier of the connection.

Request body:
viaL2Checklist (boolean) - When true, check the connection's readiness from live data and save the result, instead of requiring saved readiness. Defaults to false.
requestId (string) - Optional client-generated id for this attempt (a UUID or a short slug), stored on the audit trail so a later read can tell repeated attempts apart.

Response fields:
id (string, required) - Kintsugi's unique identifier for the connection.
organizationId (string, required) - Id of the organization this connection belongs to.
platformEntityId (string) - The platform's own identifier for the entity this connection points at (e.g. a QuickBooks realm id, D365 company id, NetSuite subsidiary id). Use it to resolve a connection from an id you already hold. `null` until captured on (re)connect or backfilled.
externalId (string, required) - The connection's own external identifier: an Apideck consumer id for a Vault-backed source, or the platform-specific value the connector stores (e.g. a Shopify shop id, a Stripe publishable key).
source (string, required) - Origin platform of the connection (e.g. SHOPIFY, QUICKBOOKS). Any origin outside the published values is reported as OTHER.
